We had a lot going on at Christmas. Preston, Morgan and Charles all had the rotavirus. Luckily, I did not get it. It was awful! Preston had it for about seven days. I thought I knew what sick was until I saw the rotavirus..YUCK!!!! Despite everyone being sick, we managed to have a wonderful Christmas. Preston and Morgan got a wooden playset from Nanna, Grand-D, Grams, and Grandaddy. They both love it. Santa stopped by Nanna and Grand-D's house. Preston is still terrified of him. Morgan loved him! She was so fascinated with his beard! Preston is now talking ALL the time. You can understand about half of what we says. He loves singing and dancing to rap music. It is hilarious! Morgan is now sitting up and crawling. She loves being able to move to where her brother is. Preston is just now starting to be sweet to Morgan. It took him a while. He is learning how to share his toys with his little sister...or at least the toys he doesn't want. It's a start. We were so blessed in 2008 with many wonderful memories. We pray that in 2009 everyone is healthy, we grow closer to God, and that we cherish every moment we have with these two little ones. It is so much fun to see how much they change everyday! They grow way too fast!!!

Just a Cold December Day...

It is SO cold today so we just played around the house. Excitement at our house as always...Preston was having fun until he did a flip off the chair and hit the hardwood...He's tough though...only cried for a minute..

Morgan thinks her brother is so funny

Morgan loves watching her brother. She cracks up at everything he does. He was so so sweet tonight. He kissed her on the cheek for the first time. It made me tear up. Usually he ignores her or just takes all her toys away. It was pretty special to see him being sweet to his little sister. She loves her big brother.

Preston is scared of Santa

We participated in the neighborhood Christmas parade. We decorated Preston's wagon. It was so much fun! At the end of the parade, Santa greeted the children. Preston did not know what to think about this funny looking guy. I tried to explain to him that this is a good man. He brings toys to good boys and girls. He still screamed and clinged to me.

Morgan's Baby Dedication

Morgan's baby dedication was this Sunday, Dec.6th, at PineLake. It was a special day. She did great minus the stinky surprise she did in the middle of the service. Big brother Preston ran around the back with Granddaddy the whole time. I think Granddaddy was worn out. Please pray for my mother. She fell on Sat. holding Morgan. Morgan is fine, but mom broke her shoulder in two places. It is a hard time of year to be slowed down like that.
